• Chahat was accused of mentally harassing another TV actress Heer Chopra during the COVID-19 lockdown, while Chopra was staying at her house.

• In 2020, a post by TV actor Zaan Khan on social media created a buzz, in which he revealed that Chahat was ‘on the verge of committing suicide’ due to non-payment of dues by the makers of the show. However, Chahat denied this and detailed the incident.
